Inconsistencies of the story Heaven is For Real

unlike a lot of logs that are usually very long and boring to read so I will try and keep it short. Now the story starts when Colton Burpo was three years old he was struck with acute appendicitis while on a family trip. he was eventually taken to a hospital where his health took a turn for the worst. It was around this time that Colton and his parents claim he went to heaven and saw his great grandfather even though he died before he was born they also claim he met is younger sister who was stillborn. Along with that they claim he met God and Jesus Christ who they said looked like this.

he also asked about Armageddon. Now i am going to list two important things that are not Biblically  consistent with with the story.

1st. The description of Jesus in Heaven is not consistent with John's description of Him in The Revelation of Jesus Christ. here is the passage I am referring to.

Revelation 1:14-15

14 "The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters."

2nd. The story describes Armageddon as a battle when Armageddon is really a valley the valley where the final battle takes place though the battle itself is not named it has often been called the battle of Armageddon though calling it just Armageddon is a mistake usually made by those ignorant to this fact.

Revelation 16:16

"Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon."

So from what I see based on these two inconsistencies is that this story may be just fabrication made solely for profit considering his parents have sold over 500,000 copies of the book. Even if Colton Burpo says he remembers the experience children at a young age can be taught to believe that they remember events of there lives that have never taken place yet claim to remember them vividly.sorry to take up so much of your time with my blog.
